What is Code Converter?

Code Converter is a free web app that brings 90+ conversion and developer utilities together in one place. Convert infrastructure code between Terraform and AWS CDK, turn HTML into React, Angular or Ionic components, convert PDF to Word and Word to PDF, merge, split and compress PDFs, and translate between JSON, YAML, XML, CSV, XLSX, .env and tfvars. It also includes everyday developer tools such as a JWT decoder, regex tester, Base64 and URL encoder, hash and UUID generators, cron explainer, and JSON, HTML, CSS and SQL formatters.

How it works

Every tool is rule-based and deterministic. The same input always produces the same output, so results are predictable and reviewable, which matters when you are migrating infrastructure or transforming data for a pipeline. There is no account to create and nothing to install. Open a tool, paste text or upload a file, and download the result.

Built for automation too

Everything available in the browser is also exposed as a JSON REST API with an OpenAPI specification. You can call the same conversions from scripts, CI/CD pipelines, Postman or curl. See the API documentation for the full list of endpoints.
