kubectl Command Builder
Choose what you want to do, fill in the names, and get a ready-to-paste kubectl command with a one-line explanation of every flag. It only builds the text: it does not connect to a cluster, so check names and permissions yourself. Output is for bash/zsh-style shells.
About the kubectl Command Builder
The kubectl Command Builder turns a form into a ready-to-paste kubectl command. Pick an action such as get, logs, exec, port-forward, scale, rollout, set image, apply, delete, top, label, events, node drain, auth can-i or the default namespace, fill in the names, and see the command with a one-line explanation of every flag. Names, selectors, images and ports are validated, free text is shell-quoted, and risky commands such as delete and scale to zero carry a warning.
How to use the kubectl Command Builder
- Choose what you want to do and fill in the resource, name and namespace.
- Add the options you need, such as a label selector, follow logs or a dry run.
- Click Build command, read the explanation and copy the command into your terminal.
Frequently asked questions
Does it run the command or connect to my cluster?
No. It only assembles the text. It does not know your cluster, so a valid command can still fail because of a wrong name or a missing permission.
Which shell is the output for?
POSIX shells such as bash and zsh (also Git Bash on Windows). Values with spaces or special characters are wrapped in single quotes. In PowerShell, simple commands work unchanged but complex quoting may need adjusting.
Are my data stored when I use the kubectl Command Builder?
The text you submit is processed in memory to produce the result and is not saved. Like any web server, Code Converter logs basic visit data (page, IP address and browser) but never the content you paste.
Is the kubectl Command Builder free, and can I call it from a script?
It is free and only needs a free account (log in first). The same tool is available as a REST endpoint at POST /api/kubectl-builder; see the API documentation for the fields and examples.
